No prior experience needed. Whether you're into building, coding, design, media, or organizing — there's a subteam for you.
Members work hands-on all season: designing and fabricating the robot, writing code that drives it, documenting the process, running outreach events, and everything else it takes to get a team to competition. You'll learn from teachers, volunteers, and industry mentors while building real skills alongside a team that competes every year.

What you'll do
Four focus areas, one team
Competition
Each season the team designs, builds, and competes a robot for that year's FIRST Robotics Competition game, then takes it to official events.
Technical development
Students work hands-on across mechanical design, fabrication, electronics, and software, learning tools and processes used in industry.
Leadership
Team members lead subteams, manage timelines and budgets, document decisions, and help newer students take on more responsibility.
Outreach & community
The team shares robotics with the local community through demonstrations, events, and support for students getting started in STEM.
